Hey everyone, and welcome to my blog! I'm really excited about this course and learning about how to include fun technology in the classroom. We learned about something called Genius Hour today in class, and I thought it was a pretty great idea. Basically, students get an hour to work on an idea that they are passionate about. This way they get to use their creativity and have school work that they can be excited about. Students have to ask a question that is is not Googleable and do some research in order to answer their question. Usually students ask a question in a topic that they are passionate about, for example we looked at an inspiration video about Caine's Arcade that really highlighted the passion that can occur during Genius Hour.
